FAQ
There are several questions which the average consumer or a new
business may be interested in acquiring the services of a private
investigator.
We attempt to address those questions we feel are important when choosing your private investigation firm.
- What is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)?
The
Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) establishes and
administers the CFE designation. According to the ACFE, the individual
holding this designation denotes proven expertise in fraud prevention,
detection, deterrence and investigation. CFEs must meet stringent
academic, professional and character requirements, comply with the ACFE
Code of Professional Ethics and continually build their skills through
on going professional education.
- What are your costs for services?
Currently
we offer a no-cost consultation where we can discuss rates and fees
associated with the type of work you may be in need of. We can also
attempt to provide you with an approximate cost associated with your
case, however we make no guarantees. We will do our best to not exceed
our estimated budget, and within our past experience, we can report
that if we have gone over budget, it has not exceeded 10%. Note that if
additional work is requested, the budget amount will be discussed and
most likely amended. Communication between Pettus Investigations and
the client is constant, so there are never any questions regarding the
work or costs.
- Do you offer a flat fee for any services?
Pettus Investigations can work with those clients that prefer a flat fee.
